Use damp cloth to wipe clean.Charge stone in moonlight - especially full; avoid new moon for charging. Cleanse stone in moonlight - use the new moon for cleansing.
Sunlight can also be used for brief periods of time (no longer than an hour) as this will fade the colours in the stone.
Selenite can be used to cleanse and charge other crystals (it is self-cleansing) - place the stone on a selenite plate, in a selenite bowl, or touching smaller pieces of selenite.
